The Office Season Two
SCORE: 60
Season Two of The Office is when the show started to get some traction. This mockumentary has some real character development along with some very adult humor. The WMG needs to be clear, The Office is not for children in any way shape or form. Certain aspects of The Office Season Two will be carried on for many seasons to come. The WMG would cringe every single time Michael Scott would go into some rant. In fact most of the time this character opened his mouth the worse things got. The pranks Jim plays on Dwight are very funny, and are one of the things that make this show what it is.
Even though The Office Season Two is held at a paper company there are plenty of various locations shown. Episodes like The Fire, and The Fight stretch this series in ways the WMG was not expecting. The Fight has some violence that is more silly than realistic.
The WMG has noticed that people either get or do not get the humor in The Office Season Two. There are quite a few humorous scenes in The Office Season Two. On the other side of the coin there is a lot of bad content as well. Almost every single episode has some bad language in it, and there are quite a few bad decisions. Drug Testing, and The Carpet has some of the worst in this reviewer’s opinion.
The Office Season Two has a nice amount of extra content. There are a
lot of deleted scenes that give a little more behind the scenes.
Unfortunately there is bad content in some of those deleted scenes so it
brings the score down. There are few episodes in The Office Season Two
that the WMG would want to watch a second time. The Olympic promos, and
commentaries will interest fans of the show.
There are few episodes in The Office Season Two that have the right
choices being made. Booze Cruise, Boys and Girls, and The Injury show
incredible bad choices by the majority. The Office Season Two also has a
herd mentality in the office. The one character who is supposed to be a
Christian is shown as a judgemental hate monger. Hollywood up to its
lying ways yet again.
Take your Daughter to Work Day, as well as Casino Night are a slap in
the face to good family morals. Adults are disrespected in one, and
marriage is spit on in the other. Dwight is the hardest worker in the
office but constantly mocked. Family need to be careful with The Office
Season Two because there are a lot of anti-family lessons in this DVD
package. The WMG plans to continue to review future seasons.
