Tetro Mania

The concept behind Tetro Mania is simple.
There is a grid on the screen, and certain Tetris blocks. Fill the grid
with the right blocks and it is on to the next level. Tetro Mania does
not have falling blocks like Tetris. I find this app to be an
interesting take on the original, and it is definitely inspired by the
ancient game. Tetro Mania is on the iPhone/iPod Touch, and iPad. Family
Friendly Gaming was provided a download code of this app for this
review.
I like the various colors in Tetro Mania. This game has a familiar feel
to it. There are no offensive graphics I found while playing it. The
backdrops are a bit plain, but I rarely paid attention to them. I like
the effects used on the grid to show me where to play pieces. Rotating
the pieces in Tetro Mania is very easy. The menu screens are okay.
The music in Tetro Mania is very soothing. I enjoyed the puzzle element
in this app, but the music relaxed me in a variety of ways. There are
few games that I enjoy watching others play. Tetro Mania is one game I
can watch others play, and the main reason is the music. You have to
hear the music in this app. Tetro Mania costs ninety-nine cents so it
won't break the bank. The special effect sounds fit the theme of this
app and enhance it.
Tetro Mania is one of those puzzle games that gets into your head. It
got into my head and I loved solving level after level. There are one
hundred levels, and a chance to earn three stars per level. That comes
out to a possible three hundred stars. Tetro Mania is more than worth
the price of admission. Families will spend weeks going through all the
levels in Tetro Mania.
The game play in Tetro Mania sounds simple. Pick the blocks, rotate
them, and fill the grid. The strategy comes in while you are trying to
find the right combination. Tetro Mania begins with very easy grids. As
families progress the levels get more and more complex. Tetro Mania is
one of those apps that a couple of us played around an iPad. We took
turns finding the right solutions, and attempting others.
It was a real joy for us to play and review Tetro Mania. This app is
fantastic. I enjoy puzzle games, and Tetro Mania is one of the better
ones I have seen this year. I hope for sequels in the future. I learned
to think about what shapes to use to solve the various grid challenges.
My mind had to adapt and change to mentally see the solutions. Tetro
Mania helps me expand my neural processes in ways I had never imagined
before.
