Sprinkle Junior

Sprinkle Junior is an imaginative little kids game on the iPhone/iPod Touch. There is also an Android version of Sprinkle Junior. Kids put out fires thanks to this neat looking little machine. There are some physics involved in Sprinkle Junior, but it is kept pretty easy. In fact I only had problems with one of the levels in Sprinkle Junior.

The water looks real in Sprinkle Junior. I know we say that all the time about games. But in Sprinkle Junior it is completely clear, flows, and bubbles up just like real water. I felt like I could lick the iPod Touch and get a drink. The fire and other aspects of Sprinkle Junior also look good. The characters in Sprinkle Junior are a little on the cartoon side. Which works with and for children.

The music in Sprinkle Junior is relaxing. I soothed myself by listening to the musical selection in Sprinkle Junior. Kids really love the special effect sounds. Especially when a screen is cleared. The odd looking creatures in Sprinkle Junior will celebrate. Make sure you child does not jump up and down with them, and accidentally drop your expensive hand held device. Especially if you play this on the iPad. Those things are expensive.

There are twenty-two levels in Sprinkle Junior, and it costs two dollars. Ouch! That is a little steep in my opinion. Especially when we consider how many other kids apps out there cost one dollar, instead of two. Many of them include more content. Kids enjoy games like Where's My Water? and there are a lot more levels in that game.

Sprinkle Junior is a simple game to play. Move the hose up, move the hose down, and touch it to make it shoot water. Certain things in the levels of Sprinkle Junior can be moved. They have a left and right arrow on them. Some mild experimentation will unearth what can be done with what. Certain blocks need to be put in specific locations. Like feeding this giant character.

I learned to put out fires thanks to Sprinkle Junior. I also learned to try different things to solve the puzzles. Kids will have a good time with Sprinkle Junior. They can learn about water. My only thought about the water in Sprinkle Junior is I drowned those houses. In the real world water damage would have been a problem. But this is a game, so it was not a concern.

Sprinkle Junior is a fun little cute kids game for kids. I am glad that I was able to play, and completely beat this app. I may need to check out the main original Sprinkle game one of these days. Whenever I get a break from reviewing for Family Friendly Gaming.
