Snakeball

You know that Snake game from a long time ago? The one where you touch some item, and your snake grows in length. The longer the snake, the more difficult it is to avoid your own tail. Snakeball is the logical upgrade of this concept. Snakeball is a downloadable video game on the Sony Playstation 3 (PS3). The cool thing about Snakeball is you can download a demo first. That way you can try the game out before you make the purchase.

Snakeball is alive with color. It is like the video game version of Sound of Music in terms of graphics. There is a techno look to Snakeball that resonated with me. Players need to be careful as they play Snakeball because there are various things that can hurt the player’s snake. Losing links is a possibility of a collision. Or a game over screen. So caution is always the guiding factor. The camera keeps up with the player and was never a problem for me.

The techno feel of Snakeball continues in the audio department. I enjoyed the music in this downloadable PS3 game. It got me pumped to play the game, do a good job, and perform at the best of my abilities. These sounds are always crisp, and very clear. I did not find any offensive sounds while I was playing Snakeball. I appreciate how clean Sony kept this game.

I spent my own money on Snakeball. So I do believe that Snakeball is worth the price of admission. This game is very clean, and safe for families. There are enough levels, and modes to warrant a look see.

The controls are very tight in Snakeball. I found I could move the snake around very easily. I could avoid things at the flick of the wrist, and found no issues in that regard. Snakeball can get hectic at times but that is part of its charm. I enjoyed playing Snakeball, and will continue to for some time.

I wish more games were like Snakeball. This is a fun game that teaches players to recognize problems, and to avoid them. It also shows them to follow the path from beginning to end, and to avoid dwelling on the past. I hope there are sequels to this game. It was a real pleasure for me to play and review Snakeball on the Playstation 3.
