Rooms the Main Building

I do not recall exactly when and where I heard about Rooms the main building. All I knew for sure was this is an interesting looking puzzle game from Hudson Entertainment, and we had never heard of it before. That can be a bad thing at times. When publishers and developers slip something past, and ignore respected and established media outlets like Family Friendly Gaming, it is usually because there is something seriously wrong with the game. So I found myself expecting the worse out of Rooms the main building. I found myself amazingly surprised at this quirky little Nintendo DS title.

The main environment of Rooms the main building is at night. There are also graphics in this hand held video game that remind me of the Matrix movies. Players can use telephones to transport around the blocking sliding puzzle action game. What is most interesting to me is how the player interacts with the different rooms. There is some violence as walls are blown up so the player can progress.

The music in Rooms the main building is very good. It is a little eerie at times, but it does fit the theme of the graphics, and the mood of this game. There is a Chronicles of Narnia feel to Rooms the main building as well. The talking book, chests, and more give this Nintendo DS game an interesting flavor. There is a special effect sound when a room has been put in the right space that I really enjoyed.

The one hundred levels of Rooms the main building will keep most gamers busy for a few weeks. Then you can start to create your own levels, and share them with your friends. Which is the main portion of the multi-card two player play of Rooms the main building. I spent my own scraped together money on this DS game, and feel it was money well spent.

The game play in Rooms the main building is mainly moving rooms around. Well at the start at least. The game slowly adds more features, and then mixes them up. There are ladders, subways, keys, candles, and more in Rooms the main building. This hand held puzzle game starts out easy, but it can require some intelligent thought to beat later levels. I got myself stuck a few times, but was able to easily restart the levels. I found myself having a lot of fun with Rooms the main building, and believe you will as well.

I would love to see sequels to Rooms the main building in the near future. I found myself thinking about problems in different ways. I was not very interested in the story of Rooms the main building, even though it is what sets it apart from so many other puzzle games. The puzzle action in this DS game is very creative. Check this one out.
