My Little Pony Twilight Sparkle, Teacher
for a Day is an interactive book on the iPhone/iPod Touch. You can also
use it on the iPad if you happen to have one. This is the first time My
Little Pony has made the jump to this platform. Parents can read this
book to their children, or have the app read to their children. My
favorite mode is to read and record. There is something wonderful about
your child being able to hear your voice reading the book to them.
The girl colors are displayed proudly in My Little Pony Twilight
Sparkle, Teacher for a Day. I enjoyed the pinks and purples. The My
Little Pony characters have an art style I am not familiar with. This is
not a bad thing, in fact I like the new look. The ponies have an almost
anime look to them. The ponies help one another out, and care for one
another in visual ways as well as audio ones.
The voice acting in My Little Pony Twilight Sparkle, Teacher for a Day
is spectacular. I really enjoyed hearing the lady read the book. She has
a fantastic voice. I already mentioned the read and record mode in My
Little Pony Twilight Sparkle, Teacher for a Day. This is a great mode
for families. Little girls will want to hear My Little Pony Twilight
Sparkle, Teacher for a Day read over and over again. Read it once and
you may not need to read it again.
My Little Pony Twilight Sparkle, Teacher for a Day is currently selling
for ninety-nine cents. This is a great price for an interactive book. I
can not get a book from the store for that price with thirty-nine pages.
So I feel that My Little Pony Twilight Sparkle, Teacher for a Day is a
really good deal. I am also happy to see Hasbro bringing franchises into
this format.
There are a few games in My Little Pony Twilight Sparkle, Teacher for a
Day. They are kind to the player, but I did not see the controls as
being very tight. They consist of moving a character through a maze by
moving around the iPod Touch/iPhone, and a spot the difference game. The
images on the spot the difference game are a little small. Children need
to swipe the screen to get to the next page. This was not apparent to
children we had try My Little Pony Twilight Sparkle, Teacher for a Day.
I would love to see more books make it to this little hand held machine.
The iPhone/iPod Touch is much more than just a video game machine. It
has music, books, and more on it. Apple has done a fantastic thing with
this hand held. My Little Pony Twilight Sparkle, Teacher for a Day
teaches children to work together. The plot of the storyline revolves
around the origins of their land. Magic is present in this book in a
light form.
