Motion Explosion

Motion Explosion is a fascinating compilation of games. They revolve around a couple of different activities generally. There are the holding your arm(s) out and balancing objects. Then there are activities where the players is moving around on a grid while things are moving towards them. There are also some where you are knocking balls back towards something.

There are twelve different activities in Motion Explosion. Each of them have ten levels. So if I did my math properly that is 120 levels. Which is decent for a game of this kind. The levels start out pretty easy, but get more complicated as the player progresses. Expect the final few to be challenging. At least if you want to get all three stars.

My favorite games in Motion Explosion are the ones where I am juggling. Man I got that down pat. Which makes it so much more fun. That is the thing I noticed about Motion Explosion. Different people will excel at different activities. It seems that about almost everyone can find an activity in Motion Explosion that they will enjoy.

Most of the violent content in Motion Explosion revolve around bombs. You can step on them, get hit by them, and generally lose points thanks to them. The Dodgeball game has the player knocking robots over if you can return the ball back to them. All of this is light in my opinion. The graphics are bright and colorful in Motion Explosion. I felt like I was on a game show.

Motion Explosion does something wonderful in terms of tutorials. The first time you play an activity you have to go through the tutorial. After that you can avoid the tutorial and play the levels of the game. This neat little idea carries a lot of weight here at Family Friendly Gaming. I hope other companies learn from this idea.

The controls in Motion Explosion are excellent. I had little problems playing the activities in Motion Explosion. I had issues with the robot, but maybe it was just me. Cranking with one hand, and batting a ball with another one is another activity that felt awkward to me. But the majority of the games in Motion Explosion control well. Tilt Board was a fun game. The best one in Motion Explosion in my opinion is the Juggle Struggle. I really got a kick out of that activity.

Four family members can get some exercise and enjoy some interesting activities thanks to Motion Explosion. This Xbox 360 Kinect game tries some interesting and different things. I would like to see the franchise continue in the future. Collecting stars in a video game has never been more entertaining than in Motion Explosion.
