Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Minnies Masquerade
SCORE: 88
Hot dog, hot dog, hot digity dog. That
song is going to be stuck in my head for weeks now. Mickey Mouse
Clubhouse Minnie's Masquerade is a compilation of five girl themed
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episodes. There is Minnie's Masquerade, Minnie's
Mouseke-Calendar, A Surprise for Minnie, Secret Spy Daisy, and The
Friendship Team.
Kids love to get up and dance with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Minnie's
Masquerade. They will get to do even more thanks to the Discovery Mode
and the Mickey Mote. This little mouse eared device is used to answer
questions. Kids can have fun using it while they are watching the shows
on DVD. Just be sure to follow the instructions on how to program it.
The colors are bright, and the characters are all happy, fun, and
approachable. Since there is a Minnie focus, expect more pink. Girls
will enjoy Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Minnie's Masquerade much more than
boys. Flowers, cookies, and more on Valentines Day are not exactly
things that get boys excited. But that's okay. It is neat that Disney
produced a girls mainly DVD of the show.
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Minnie's Masquerade teaches some neat little
lessons that pre-schoolers, and even kindergartners can use. There are
lessons on shapes, colors, days of the week, and counting. The song for
the days of the week is a clever little jingle that reminds me of songs
in Boz for some reason. The music is good, although I would not
recommend watching all five shows back to back.
The wonderful thing about having television shows on DVD is you can
watch them again and again. You can watch a couple in a row, or one per
morning during the work week. The Discovery Mode is a neat little
feature that will make replaying the episodes even more fun for the
little ones. Family Friendly Gaming was provided a reviewable copy of
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Minnie's Masquerade. I do believe this package is
worth the price of admission if you have preschool age girls in your
house hold.
I ran into no issues navigating through the menu screens of Mickey Mouse
Clubhouse Minnie's Masquerade. The Mickey Mote navigates quite nicely as
well. Although I could not figure out how to use it to select anything.
Aside from the answers on the questions. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Minnie's
Masquerade teaches children a few lessons while letting them get the
wiggles out, and have a good time.
