Kinect Adventures

I knew from E3 in the year of our Lord 2010 that Kinect Adventures was going to be something special. Which is why ya’ll have seen so much coverage of this game and Kinect over recent months. This game follows your body and requires certain physical actions by the player. Kinect Adventures shows all of us the future of the video game industry. Getting to take a raft down the rapids, plugging holes in a little under water glass container.

The visuals in Kinect Adventures are awe inspiring. The various colors, and effects are top notch. Microsoft really went all out in terms of Xbox 360 Kinect title. They kept the images family friendly, and safe for the entire family. The various little living statues are interesting. Having players stand in the mouth of a giant shark is the only image that may frighten little children. I did not find it bothersome, but your family will have to decide for yourselves. Kinect Adventures takes pictures of the player are certain points in the game which are very fascinating.

The music in Kinect Adventures is fun, fresh, and energetic. I barely recognized that I was getting exercise while having fun. The sounds in Kinect Adventures fit the theme of each different adventure game. Kinect Adventures lets you record a phrase to your Living Statues which is cool.

One or two players can enjoy Kinect Adventures at the same time. There are twenty different adventures in Kinect Adventures. All of them are a lot of fun. Normally games I purchase sit around behind games that come in from publishers. Kinect Adventures is getting played every single day. It is that good of a game. I am recommending this game to friends and family members.

The game play in Kinect Adventures revolves all around the Kinect Sensor. This works marvelously well as long as you are six to ten feet from the Kinect Sensor. The adventures in Kinect Adventures are a lot of fun. Personally I love the Rafting Adventures. I am still having a blast playing Kinect Adventures as are everyone else who gets a turn.

Kinect Adventures is one of those wonderful games that gets us up off the couch. The best part of Kinect Adventures is it is fun exercise. This Xbox 360 game can be used to help lose weight while having a complete blast. The lessons I learned from Kinect Adventures is to time my jumps, pay attention to details, and have fun. Kinect Adventures is good clean fun. I hope to see sequels to this Xbox 360 Kinect game in the near future. Kinect Adventures is the first step toward Microsoft catching Nintendo’s Wii. With family friendly software like this game, Microsoft has shown they understand what families want.
