Jake and the Never Land Pirates Yo Ho Mateys Away
SCORE: 83
Jake and the Never Land Pirates Yo Ho
Mateys Away reminds me of Little Einseins. Without all the art and
culture. Not saying there is no art and culture in Jake and the Never
Land Pirates Yo Ho Mateys Away. Two boys, a girl, and a parrot are on
some swashbuckling adventures off the shores of Never Land. Captain Hook
and Mr. Smee are the antagonists.
Expect classic Disney animation in Jake and the Never Land Pirates Yo Ho
Mateys Away. There are a lot of soft colors used. Captain Hook is the
only character I ever felt was in any peril on this DVD. That crocodile
keeps trying to get him whenever he is in the water. There are visual
acts of kindness and characters going to great lengths to do a good
deed.
The voice acting in Jake and the Never Land Pirates Yo Ho Mateys Away is
excellent. The humor in this show can reach across the generations.
Children enjoyed Jake and the Never Land Pirates Yo Ho Mateys Away and
so do adults. I found some things to laugh at in Jake and the Never Land
Pirates Yo Ho Mateys Away. The music is catchy and the DVD comes with an
audio CD. That way you can listen to it over and over again. My fellow
mothers know exactly what I am talking about.
There are seven songs sung in the fourteen episodes of Jake and the
Never Land Pirates Yo Ho Mateys Away. Those seven songs can be sung
along with. Jake and the Never Land Pirates Yo Ho Mateys Away also
includes an eye patch, and of course the audio CD. The final bonus
feature is a feature on asking you if you are ready to be a pirate.
The shows in Jake and the Never Land Pirates Yo Ho Mateys Away generally
have good morals. Things like returning someone's lost item to them.
There are episodes where Captain Hook steals something from the kids,
and they steal it back from him. I am not sure that two wrong actually
do make a right even though this show presents that.
Kids can learn counting thanks to Jake and the Never Land Pirates Yo Ho
Mateys Away. At the end of each show the gold coins they collect are
counted. They can also learn that it is fun to fly a kite on a windy
day, and that lava is hot. There are a few other lessons in this show
like teamwork. I can see why Jake and the Never Land Pirates Yo Ho
Mateys Away is currently the number one cable show for boys two through
five.
Ninjas and pirates are two things that young boys adore. Especially when
you take away super heroes. My one concern is that pirates were and
still are criminals. I see nothing glamorous about robbing other people.
I see even less glamorous about murdering others. In recent years
entertainment has tried to softened the pirate image. I have talked to
fellow parents who do not like pirate themes based on the history. I
leave that decision in your capable hands.
