Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs

The real joy of getting to review games is coming across some real gems. Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs is a real gem. I have been fussing for months about the controls in numerous games on the iPhone/iPod Touch. Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs takes the lessons from the Nintendo DS, and applies them perfectly. Touch where you want Scrat to go. He will then walk to that spot. This is perfect, and exactly what this platform needs.

I have been blessed to play various video games based on the Ice Age franchise, and have to say that I like Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs on the iPhone/iPod Touch the most. Family Friendly Gaming was provided a download code for this review. At the time in history this review was written, Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs is selling for ninety-nine cents.

The visuals in Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs are amazing. Every single area, and level remind me of the movie. The animation, polish, and shine are top notch. The core of the action in Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs is puzzle action. Players need to drop blocks on enemies, or make them fall in spikes. They spin around, and fly off the screen. That is the extent of the cartoon violence in Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs.

The music in Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs fits the theme, and enhances this hand held video game. Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs includes some humorous little scenes from the movie. I personally enjoyed Scrat chasing after the nut encased in ice. If you are looking for a lot of humor in Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs, then you will be disappointed. I was not looking for it, but it is worth a mention.

I am amazed at how many levels there are in Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs, and how long it can take to solve some of them. Don't worry because there are numerous check points strewn across the levels, and continuing starts from the last check point. There are four different worlds with nine levels each. There are also secrets in Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs that will require some thought to acquire.

The gameplay in Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs is perfect. I love touching somewhere and having my character go there. Moving blocks around is also an intelligent interface. Speaking of intelligence, there is some amazing design behind the levels. I found myself thinking in different ways to solve different problems so I could get the nuts, and get to the end of the levels. Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs is an amazingly fun game to play.

The lessons I learned in Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs is to think about how to solve the puzzles around me. Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs also taught me to look at problems in different ways to be able to solve them. Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs is one of cleanest games I played in a long time, especially considering it is based on a movie franchise. I hope to see sequels to this franchise in the near future.
