I was at the Christian bookstore and saw Drive Thru History Discovering America’s Founders for $6.99. Decided to pick it up. Some brothers in Christ told me they really enjoyed this show, and it was a good deal. I figured the worst that could come out is I have a DVD to do a review on. After watching Drive Thru History Discovering America’s Founders I wanted to do a review. This show is fantastic, and I hope more people check it out. There are three episodes on this disc: The Adams Family, It’s All about the Benjamins, and Other Revolutionary Heroes. Dave Stotts makes learning history fun, and he covers multiple figures per episode.

Families will be happy to know that the faith of the Founding Fathers is covered in Drive Thru History Discovering America’s Founders as well. It is not glossed over, or ignored like so many other history based television shows. Non-Christians will be happy to hear that Drive Thru History Discovering America’s Founders does not beat you over the head with faith based facts either. This show has a wonderful balance - kind of like Family Friendly Gaming.

The visuals in Drive Thru History Discovering America’s Founders are awesome. Dave wears different attire from the era, and even has many visual examples of various items from that time period. Getting to see houses from that time are a real treat.

I learned so much from Drive Thru History Discovering America’s Founders, and it comes in such an entertaining manner. I loved the music and the humor in Drive Thru History Discovering America’s Founders. Dave is a talented man, and I want more of this show after seeing these three. The sites in this show are a real treat, and so are the sounds.

Drive Thru History Discovering America’s Founders is definitely worth the price I paid. I wish there were more shows at that price, or even an entire season for twenty to thirty dollars. The one negative I see in Drive Thru History Discovering America’s Founders is there are no bonus features, and no chapter select.

The menu screen for Drive Thru History Discovering America’s Founders is very easy to navigate through. The history on this DVD is awesome, and very entertaining. Drive Thru History Discovering America’s Founders is what Christian television can be. I thoroughly enjoyed these shows, and will for some time.

If you have ignored shows like this because of their faith based foundations, then you really need to open your mind and give it a chance. I would love to see sequels to Drive Thru History Discovering America’s Founders, and hope there are some major compilations created. It was my pleasure to watch and review this DVD.
