Dragonball Z Season 7

Dragonball Z Season 7 is a transitionary season, and one that contains less episodes than the previous seasons. Dragonball Z Season 7 contains twenty-five episodes on the six discs. That means some discs only have three episodes on them. The two sagas included in Dragonball Z Season 7 are the GREAT SAIYAMAN, and the WORLD TOURNAMENT. The afterlife concepts in Dragonball Z Season 7 continue as they have a tournament that Goku winds up winning. There is a little twist in that, but I will let you see it for yourself.

The cool artwork from this franchise continues, as does the violence. I do believe the violence is toned down in Dragonball Z Season 7 though. There are a few gross moments like someone’s head getting knocked around backwards. In fact the entire Videl versus Spopovitch fight is disgusting. Thankfully this season is toned down overall though, and I appreciated that.

The voice acting continues to be one of my personal favorites. The voice in Dragonball Z Season 7 are great, and they exhibit some real talent. The music fits the theme of this show. There are a few humorous moments in Dragonball Z Season 7. Various characters have different motives, and not all of them are honorable. The whole afterlife concepts center around martial arts being the center of the universe. With the super powers of these characters I really see little need for the martial arts training.

I am disappointed that there are less episodes in Dragonball Z Season 7. I felt a little cheated because I had to spend a few more dollars on this season compared to older seasons that contain more content. The first saga in Dragonball Z Season 7 is really corny. The second one could have been good, but it really was more of a tie in to the next one. There are few stand out moments in Dragonball Z Season 7 that make me want to watch it a second time. In fact most of the candidates are predictable.

The menu design stays exactly the same in Dragonball Z Season 7. This is the seventh time I have seen this design. I like how it stays familiar. Dragonball Z Season 7 feels more like an American cartoon in the super hero parts, and trying to keep a secret identity. The world tournament portion is where Dragonball Z Season 7 goes back into anime.

We talk at Family Friendly Gaming about regionalization all the time. The afterlife concepts in Dragonball Z Season 7 feel like proselytizing eastern beliefs into a country that the majority self ID as Christian. I find it interesting that we hear foreign countries complain about Christians witnessing, but have no problem with the reverse. Everyone has energy to fly and what not is a lesson in Dragonball Z Season 7.
