Dragonball Z Season 4
SCORE: 59
I am continuing my tour of Dragonball Z with a review of Season Four on
DVD. This package is the darkest I have seen in this series thus far.
There is a new “good guy” in the form of Trunks. I really have to
question how good he is by slaughtering two bad guys just after his
arrival. Being the second Super Saiyan sparks a lot of conversation. Who
is he? Where does he come from? Do not worry because Dragonball Z Season
Four answers those questions. Garlic Jr returns, and Krillin gets a
girlfriend. After those minor storylines wrap up, we get to experience
the beginning of the androids.
The same art style continues in Dragonball Z Season Four, and I have to
admit I like it quite a bit. I was not pleased with the enticement to
lust images, and how Dragonball Z Season Four obsesses over it. There
are dark images of millions becoming vampire like creatures hunting down
human. Then we get into the disgusting and gross violent images. Things
like someone getting cut into pieces, and gaping holes in other
characters.
The evil characters in Dragonball Z Season Four are extremely bad. They
want to destroy everything and everyone. Certain characters that fall
under the good side are self centered, arrogant, and willing to do
whatever necessary to stop evil. The problem I have is when you do
anything to destroy the enemy, you become the enemy. There are some
language issues here and there in Dragonball Z Season Four.
If you are an addicted DBZ fan, then you will appreciate how many
episodes are included. There is 755 minutes in Dragonball Z Season Four.
Few will be able to complete this season in one season. If you do, then
you need some professional help. The Marathon feature is one of the
prominent extras - which was present in previous seasons as well.
The darker stories in Dragonball Z Season Four did not give me a warm fuzzy. The good guys come back via magical beans when they are close to death. Few show mercy, and the convoluted time travel storyline makes little sense this season. I did have much fun watching Dragonball Z Season Four. The menu screens are easy to navigate, and have a very familiar feel to them.
I was dismayed to see the androids murder their creator in Dragonball Z
Season Four. This was one of the most repulsive scenes in Dragonball Z
Season Four. School work is shown as not important as martial arts
training. Women are shown to be at the top of the family unit to be
feared, and followed instead of men. Families will have issues with the
lessons in Dragonball Z Season Four
