Cinderella Princess

Reading is one of the most important life
skills. Family Friendly Gaming has been a long time supporter of our
local library. As more things have gone digital it is wonderful to see
books getting converted into apps. Companies are going all out now and
included all kinds of different things with the books. Chillingo is no
exception. For Cinderella Princess they have little mini games, and a 3D
mode. Yes that is right 3D! If you have a pair of those old 3D glasses
then you can enjoy Cinderella Princess in 3D.
That may take some time to sink in. The 3D effects are really cool, and
bring something unique to Cinderella Princess. The characters have an
artistic flair to them, but are still kept friendly for children. There
are numerous effects in Cinderella Princess depending on where you touch
the screen. Cinderella looks great in the dress she wore to the ball.
The voice actor for Cinderella Princess has a distinctive voice. He does
a wonderful job reading the story. My only complaint is he does not put
much emotion into the scenes. Parents can also record their own voice.
This is something we have seen in multiple digital books on the market.
It is still a great feature and I am glad that Chillingo included it.
You will be hard pressed to find a hard copy version of this story for a
better price. I feel that Cinderella Princess is worth the cost. And yes
Family Friendly Gaming was provided a version for this review. Children
will want to read Cinderella Princess over and over again. I suggest
recording your own voice. That is just a suggestion.
Children tap buttons to turn pages. There is an index where they can
jump directly to their favorite spot. One of the coolest aspects of
Cinderella Princess is it explains the moral of the story. It is
teaching children to be gracious. There are many people in our society
who could use that lesson. Especially in the realm of media. It is
something we do as much as possible here at Family Friendly Gaming. It
was an honor for me to be able to review Cinderella Princess on the
iPhone/iPod Touch.
