Wii Party

In recent years Nintendo has become the king of party games. So when they release a new party game, families take notice. Wii Party is the game that families will enjoy playing for years to come. Wii Party is split between party games, house games, and pair games. The diversity of the mini games in Wii Party is simply astounding. There should be diversity when there are over eighty different mini games.

Miis are the playable characters in Wii Party. They interact in very colorful environments. Board game island looks awesome, and so does the Globe Trot. Pair games like Balance Boat, and Friend Connection have some nice visual special effects. There is some cartoon violence in some of the mini games. Things like knocking other players into the water with a really big ball. There are certain scary things like a spiked ball chasing the player. I saw these as humorous personally.

The special effect sounds in Wii Party are pure fun. I enjoyed the music in this Wii game in almost every single area. Falling into the water on Balance Boat was frustrating but it taught me more about balance. The cheerful music in Wii Party brought joy to my life, and everyone else that was playing with me. The host of Wii Party has a humorous sound to him, even though he looks like a Sesame Street character. I found no offensive language or sounds while playing Wii Party.

The more you play Wii Party the more you will unlock. With eighty mini games there are going to be quite a few your family will enjoy. Speaking of the family, Wii Party is a game that is best played with two to four people. The pair games teach cooperation, and the competition in the others are a lot of fun. Family Friendly Gaming was given a reviewable copy from our friends over at Nintendo. With that said I will be purchasing a copy of this game for myself - it is that good. Wii Party is one of those games that families will be playing a year from now.

Pay attention to the controls of each mini game before playing it. Nintendo is really nice to families by allowing mini games to be practices before doing the real thing. This really depends on how quickly family members can adapt. I enjoyed practicing before actually doing them live. Fun is the goal of Wii Party. I had a blast, as did everyone at the Family Friendly Gaming Wii Party. Pizza may have helped with that. The cooperative game play in the Pair games is one of the best things I have gotten to do all year long (editor: in terms of the video game industry).

Wii Party is another home run for Nintendo. They have raised the bar when it comes to party games. I hope they continue to publish fantastic sequels. Wii Party is another jewel in Nintendo's crown. The king has not left the building, and playing Wii Party will prove it. This Wii game is safe for the entire family, and promotes family time. Make sure you have enough room for some of these games so there are no injuries. I will be recommending Wii Party to friends and family members.
