Whats in the Bible 1 In the Beginning
SCORE: 93
I have been a fan of Phil Vischer for a very long time. The whole
Veggie Tales shake up was something I found to be very sad. However
something fantastic has come out of that. Jellyfish Labs is Phil's new
company, and What's in the Bible is his new show. This show is done with
puppets and live people. Sort of like the Muppet show. Buck Denver is
the unofficial host of the show, but to be honest I am not sure he gets
any more screen time than the other puppets. Phil appears in the show at
specific intervals.
Kids may comment on the puppets in What's in the Bible 1 In the
Beginning. I noticed it myself, and have to admit they are slightly
better than The Muppet Show. There are diverse locations on this DVD,
and it shakes it up quickly. What's in the Bible 1 In the Beginning
jumps around from location to location as all these different puppets
chime in on the topic at hand. I did not find any offensive images while
watching What's in the Bible 1 In the Beginning.
The voices in What's in the Bible 1 In the Beginning are awesome. If you
are familiar with Veggie Tales then you will recognize a voice here or
there. There is a lot of talent in these voices, and they all tell
amazing stories. The creative talent in terms of the humor is shocking.
Not only did children laugh while watching What's in the Bible 1 In the
Beginning, adults did to. I found numerous social and media commentary
very funny in this show. Phil really knows the children's entertainment
industry and that shows.
The bonus content on What's in the Bible 1 In the Beginning includes a
bonus short Quacky's questions what is kindness, deleted scenes, and
bloopers. My own kids keep asking to watch What's in the Bible 1 In the
Beginning over and over again. They enjoy it more than I do, which is a
good thing since the target audience is children. What's in the Bible 1
In the Beginning is one of those videos that will continue to be watched
years after its release.
What's in the Bible 1 In the Beginning is broken up into two episodes
that are around twenty-five minutes each. The entertainment value of
What's in the Bible 1 In the Beginning is really high. What I have not
written much about is the educational value. There is a vast wealth of
knowledge in What's in the Bible 1 In the Beginning. He tackles tough
questions, and even acknowledges questions we do not have answers to. I
learned things from What's in the Bible 1 In the Beginning, and I
appreciate that.
What's in the Bible 1 In the Beginning is an amazing product that the
entire family can enjoy. Children will learn important facts about the
Bible that can stay with them for the rest of their lives. I am
recommending What's in the Bible 1 In the Beginning to family, friends,
and pastors that I personally know. I hope this show makes it completely
through the Bible. I am very curious to see how Revelations is handled.
It was a pleasure for me to be able to watch and review What's in the
Bible 1 In the Beginning.
