We Love Golf

We Love Golf is a simple golf game to learn on the Wii. Swing the Wii Remote backwards to the right point, and then time the swing forward. Sounds easy right? Well it really is. In fact that is my biggest problem with We Love Golf - it is way too easy. I blew through course after course with no problems. Thankfully Capcom also included an online mode. Plus if you have enough people locally, then four family members can compete against one another.

Visually speaking We Love Golf has a lot of nice green colors. There are a wide array of colors used in different costumes. There are some sexually suggestive images in We Love Golf. There is no need for such images, and it really takes away from what could have been a really good game. We Love Golf does not have as many special effects as other golf games on the Wii, but thats okay with me. Those things are not actually needed.

The music in We Love Golf is passable in my opinion. Most of the comments in We Love Golf are okay, but there are a few sound bytes that fall under inappropriate in my book. I enjoyed the special effect sounds in We Love Golf because they enhance the game play experience.

Capcom included quite a few various modes. Target golf is one of the most fascinating, and difficult. The online mode is one that will interest most gamers. There is a regular world mode, and of course friend code mode. We Love Golf may be easy, but I found a lot of replay value to it. In fact playing against other humans is the only real challenge. That is when things get interesting. Golf is a game about consistency. Whoever is more consistent winds up being the winner. Capcom included plenty of hidden characters and costumes. Many of their well known franchises are included.

I love how simple the controls are in We Love Golf. I have gotten sick and tired of golf games that require a PhD in complex controls. We Love Golf has become a breath of fresh air. The down side to this Wii game, is it can be beaten pretty easily. Then you get to compete against friends and family for the real challenge. I had fun playing this game, as did others that played it with me.

We Love Golf teaches concentration, numbers, calculations, and angles. We Love Golf is a decent game where families can enjoy some time together. I would advise our readers to obey the E10+ ESRB rating at a minimum. I would like to see a sequel to this Wii game, especially when the content is cleaned up.
