Triple Crown Championship Snowboarding

Destineer has not been known for their sports games. Well Triple Crown Championship Snowboarding comes along, and attempts to change all that. I have to be blunt, and honest - Triple Crown Championship Snowboarding is a big step up for this publisher. They did so many things right in this Wii game that they are on their way to make EA and 2K Sports take notice. Which is a good thing, because sports gamers win when there is competition. The presentation in this home console game is fantastic.

The graphics are very crisp and clear in Triple Crown Championship Snowboarding. I really enjoyed how well the snow looked. There are some beautiful background graphics in various areas as well. I would have preferred a more free roaming slopes, but that is because so many other recent snowboarding games have done that. I felt bad everytime I made a mistake, and my poor guy would crash. It always looked painful. Thankful there is no blood or gore in Triple Crown Championship Snowboarding. I was not impressed with the details in things like the trees.

I was not familiar with the music in Triple Crown Championship Snowboarding, but found a few songs that I enjoyed. There are songs in this game with lyrical issues. So you will need to listen to them, or find the lyrics of the songs. The good news about the songs is you can turn any of the songs off that bother you. I really like when developers and publishers give us that choice.

When I first heard about Triple Crown Championship Snowboarding, I expected it to be a bare bones snowboarding game. Wow, was I surprised to find out there are quite a few ways to play this game. There is snowboard cross, slalom, slopestyle, and half pipe. There are also various modes, and a really cool character creation feature. I can see gamers playing Triple Crown Championship Snowboarding for months, and feeling they got their moneys worth. Up to four players can compete in this game.

Triple Crown Championship Snowboarding has some very narrow slopes. There are also certain things that are re-used in various mountains. I had no problems with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controls. I did have problems with the Wii Balance Board. Even at the lowest sensitivity, Triple Crown Championship Snowboarding was difficult to control. My advice is to stay about from the Wii Balance Board, and you will have a lot more fun.

The main lessons I learned from Triple Crown Championship Snowboarding is to score the most points, and to get to the bottom the fastest. Scoring the most points is done by performing the most tricks, the best. Getting the bottom the fastest pretty much explains itself. One of the cool aspects of Triple Crown Championship Snowboarding is being able to compete against gold medal champions.
