The Sky Crawlers Innocent Aces
SCORE: 70
The Sky Crawlers Innocent Aces is an aerial combat video game on the
Wii. The anime cut scenes and storyline is one thing that separates this
game from the rest of the pack. Parents need to realize this is a 'T'
rated video game, and should follow the rating. The main controls in The
Sky Crawlers Innocent Aces are the Wii Remote in the left hand, and the
Nunchuk in the right hand. This felt weird at first but after a few
missions I got used to it.
There are a lot of amazing images in The Sky Crawlers Innocent Aces. I
really got into flying around. The cloud effects are fantastic. The
details in this Wii game are great, especially in cities. The World War
II style of graphics fits the theme of this game masterfully. The Sky
Crawlers Innocent Aces contains violent images as planes get shot down.
Some explode into huge fireballs. I even flew threw a few of them right
afterwards.
The ESRB is right on track with the Mild Language descriptor for The Sky
Crawlers Innocent Aces. The music is top notch in The Sky Crawlers
Innocent Aces, which fits the theme of this game. This Wii game contains
some great voice acting. The special effect sounds in The Sky Crawlers
Innocent Aces are very realistic. The plane sounds made me feel like I
was in the sky.
XSeed Games included a lot of missions in The Sky Crawlers Innocent
Aces. The difficulty is set pretty high in this game, so you will wind
up playing certain missions multiple times. Two players can compete
against one another in The Sky Crawlers Innocent Aces. If you are into
tough aerial combat video games you will feel your money is well spent
on The Sky Crawlers Innocent Aces.
The controls with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk feel strange in the
beginning, but I warmed up to them. Thankfully there are multiple
options in The Sky Crawlers Innocent Aces. The classic controller, or
the Gamecube controller may be more to your liking. I have to admit I
had some fun blowing the bad guys out of the sky. I did feel bad about
it later though.
The Sky Crawlers Innocent Aces is a war based game that can be used to
teach us how to become combat pilots. I am not sure how many lives need
that lesson though. I learned a few interesting things about flying
thanks to this Wii game. The violent content is a part of this game, as
is the language issues. I was honestly expecting worse with the rating.
