The Mysterious Islands

I love nature films, and I love seeing nature from far away places. The biggest problem I have with most of them is they are preaching their religious belief of evolution. Which I have rejected based on science. So it is my personal pleasure to be able to receive a reviewable copy of The Mysterious Islands on DVD. This high quality nature film is done from a Christian perspective. The level of science and history in this DVD is absolutely astounding. The Mysterious Islands is the most powerful movie I have seen this year, decade, and quite possibly this century.

The images in The Mysterious Islands are amazing. From the sharks to the finches. People of all ages enjoy the wonders of God's Creation. My boys just loved to see those giant tortoises, sharks, and the iguanas. Then there are images of these islands, and the ocean that is just awe inspiring. The various ailments of the men on this journey was something I was not expecting, but it gives a real human feel to The Mysterious Islands. The video is taken in so many wonderful and professional ways. A real rush is felt when they are running to check out a certain animal, or the playfulness of a puffer fish.

The video images make The Mysterious Islands worth the money alone. The music adds to this with such a wonderful sound. The composer impressed me greatly with such fantastic music that always fits the theme. The historical and educational elements in The Mysterious Islands are absolutely awesome. They impart information in a friendly, scientific, and logical way. I wish when I went to public schools they used this DVD because they make a whole lot more sense than what the teachers read from those books. I never felt like they got preachy in The Mysterious Islands either.

Once I finished with the 90 minute film, I went into the bonus features. The Mysterious Islands has just about the same amount of time in bonus features. There are some fantastic bonus features that are just as entertaining, and educational. The whaling controversy was my personal favorite. Fans of Sherwood Baptist will be happy to know there is a preview of their upcoming film on this DVD as well. We have already watched The Mysterious Islands multiple times, and it is going to be a favorite for years to come.

Everything on The Mysterious Islands functions perfectly. We ran into no issues while traversing the menu screens of this DVD. The screen lay out and design exhibits an intelligent design. The level of science, and history in The Mysterious Islands astounded me. I have never had this much fun learning before. My own children will be using The Mysterious Islands as a learning tool that is very inspiring.

Families can be assured that there is no offensive content in The Mysterious Islands whatsoever. There is a lot of history and nature in this film. I would love to see sequels to this film in the future. There are so many wonderful areas in the world that they could explore and document. I will be recommending The Mysterious Islands to family, friends, and pastors that I personally know. It has been my personal, pleasure and honor to be able to review this fantastic product. The Mysterious Islands could be the final nail in the coffin of Darwin's theory of evolution.
