The Daring Game for Girls

When I started playing The Daring Game for Girls on the Wii, I thought it was going to be a girl friendly mini game compilation. Something along the lines of Charm Girls Club Pajama Party. I was extremely wrong. Only one player can play The Daring Game for Girls at a time. So it not really a party game. As I was watching a loading screen I noticed a quote from a well known historical female figure. The same thing on the next loading screen. The more I played The Daring Game for Girls, the more I realized this is an educational game that includes some mini games.

There are a lot of bright colors used in The Daring Game for Girls. The artwork has a childish look and feel to it that is very inviting. Girls had no concerns with the artwork. Characters dress appropriately, which is nice to see in a girls game. I am a little perplexed by the animation of the character when running. It is like they are going too fast while running. It is something that has to be seen to be completely understood. I found it strange, and it is worthy of a mention.

The sounds remind me of Our House Party in terms of the special effect sounds. There are some projects that can be done in this game that also remind me of that game. The music is fresh, and fun though. I love all of the educational value in The Daring Game for Girls. Majesco Entertainment did a fantastic job with all of the quotes, and knowledge in this Wii game. It is amazing how much of this information I retained from school. You know at the time I thought the teachers were wasting our time with information on right triangles. I have now actually for the first time in my life used it. All thanks to a video game. So teachers can tell their students that they may need to remember what they learn to pass a level of a video game.

When I first started playing The Daring Game for Girls I thought I would finish the game up in an hour or two. I was wrong again. In fact The Daring Game for Girls is really hitting my self esteem by consistently proving me wrong. Anyways there are numerous areas, many that have to be unlocked, items to be purchased, badges earned, and points to be gotten. The mini games are decent in The Daring Game for Girls. A few warrant replaying them. I enjoyed the basketball one personally. The tether-ball mini game irritated me to no end.

The Daring Game for Girls has been made approachable to those who do not normally play video games. I appreciated that, and know girls all over the world will as well. I noticed some shades of Cooking Mama, and possibly a hint of what to expect (editor: partially) out of Crafting Mama. The Daring Game for Girls has a lot of diversity to how the game plays. You will answer questions, build things, make lemonade, shoot hoops, soccer goals, etc. There are also quests to find stuff for other characters. The Daring Game for Girls mixes it up, and it comes out really well.

I adore how much fun it is to learn in The Daring Game for Girls. Majesco Entertainment has been on a tear the last few years, and Family Friendly Gaming is happy to have been able to cover their games. The Daring Game for Girls is a game that I will be recommending to friends, family, and pastors that I personally know. I hope to see a sequel to this Wii game in the near future. Maybe The Daring Game for Boys is in development.
