Super Why Peter Rabbit and other fairytale adventures

Super Why Peter Rabbit and other fairytale adventures is a DVD with four of the PBS educational television shows. Peter Rabbit, Tom Thumb, Goldilock and the Three Bears, and Rapunzel. The Super Readers have a problem, and they go into a book to learn a lesson that will solve that problem. If you are like me you will barely recognize the fairytale story when the Super Readers are done with it.

Visually speaking the Super Readers look okay, and they animate well. They spend most of their time inside a book which has flat 2D surfaces. Kids had no complaints, but I noticed this graphical difference. There are a few characters that wind up in peril. Thankfully they are always freed from danger. Rapunzel has the most predictable issues. In fact that may help children with learning not to pull hair.

The tones of the characters in Super Why Peter Rabbit and other fairytale adventures are very happy, cheerful, and helpful. You will need to make sure that you are letting age appropriate children watch this DVD. Older children can have a habit of mocking this show. Younger kids eat it up, and learn some fantastic things. Letters, spelling, and certain letter sounds are the main lessons this DVD teaches.

Super Why Peter Rabbit and other fairytale adventures contains a lot of computer extras that families can use. The top two in my opinion are coloring pages, and interactive games. DVD players will play music videos that can interest children as well. Children can really enjoy Super Why Peter Rabbit and other fairytale adventures over and over again. If you have children and are reading this then you know exactly what I mean.

The menu screens of Super Why Peter Rabbit and other fairytale adventures exhibit an intelligent design. I am not fond of the redefinition of the classic stories. I do understand why it was done. The lessons in Super Why Peter Rabbit and other fairytale adventures are good ones. The lesson of family in Tom Thumb goes over very well here at Family Friendly Gaming.

Super Why Peter Rabbit and other fairytale adventures is an entertaining way to teach kids important lessons about letters, their sounds, and reading. On top of that there are lessons about family, love, and more. The Super Readers are always helping one another out. The only thing I can not figure out is why is one of the main characters a pig? On the flip side one of these lessons can get kids in even more trouble. For example cleaning up is the lesson from Goldilocks and the three bears. There are times adults do not need or want assistance from children after an accident. I believe the shows heart is in the right place though.
