Saving Private Sheep

Saving Private Sheep is a puzzle app on the Iphone/Ipod Touch. You have a little sheep that needs to make it down to the ground. If you fall off the edges then your poor little guy gets thrown to the wolves (literally). When this happens a lamb leg will come flying back up. Whatever happens to your poor little sheep is shown off camera, but the reality that the wolves eat them is apparent. Between your lamb (editor who happens to be in a geometric shape) and the ground is various objects. Some can be removed by touching and others are not removable at all.

The graphics in Saving Private Sheep are bright and colorful. When your sheep makes it to the ground, they hop out of the shape and have a neat celebration animation. Making a mistake grants you the animation I previously mentioned. The wolves in Saving Private Sheep are pretty nasty looking, so you will want to avoid them at all costs.

The sounds in Saving Private Sheep is exactly what I was expecting. There are sheep sounds that go along with the theme of this hand held application video game. Certain levels have wolves in sheep clothing, and you must send them to the other wolves. The sounds there brought a smile to my face. I did not find any offensive words or sounds while playing Saving Private Sheep.

Most apps on the Iphone/Ipod have been disappointing to me in terms of replay. Saving Private Sheep has so many different levels, and modes that I feel you will get your moneys worth. Saving Private Sheep is selling for under a dollar, and has extreme amounts of replay for that price. I would love to see future releases in this series. I also believe Saving Private Sheep could port over to the DS and be a success.

As you start playing Saving Private Sheep you can easily see how to solve puzzles. Some require thought, and others require exact precision timing. I quickly learned which worked where. The physics in Saving Private Sheep is impressive, especially when I go back to the price. I had fun playing Saving Private Sheep, as did others here at Family Friendly Gaming.

I am so thankful to the PR firm for providing Family Friendly Gaming with a download code for Saving Private Sheep. This game carries a '9+' rating, but I have let my eight year old play it without any issues. It was my personal pleasure to be able to play Saving Private Sheep. re-learned quite a few things about physics, and how objects will roll based on the angles and obstacles. Bulkypix has impressed me with the creativity in this game, and I look forward to future games from them.
