Raving Rabbids Travel in Time

The Raving Rabbids are back in another humorous party game. Raving Rabbids Travel in Time is a Wii exclusive that supports MotionPlus. I said this is a humorous game, but that all depends on your definition of humor. Elitists may look at this game from down their long noses and dismiss it for things like walking around with a piece of toilet paper stuck to the bottom of ones foot. I will admit the humor in Raving Rabbids Travel in Time targets a certain audience and not everyone will appreciate flatulence jokes.

The rabbids display a range of mischievous behaviors in Raving Rabbids Travel in Time. They travel through time messing up just about everything they run into. A wide array of historical events are portrayed in Raving Rabbids Travel in Time. The bright colors do this Wii game credit. The physical humor is portrayed in a plethora of jokes, as well as the reactions.

While I am on the topic of jokes, I have to touch on the audio humor in Raving Rabbids Travel in Time. They go hand in hand with the physical (ala visual) ones as well. The music gives this Wii game a real fun feel to it. I wondered what was the next prank these characters would show me in a little movie. Again you have to like this kind of humor or you are not going to enjoy Raving Rabbids Travel in Time.

Four family members can enjoy Raving Rabbids Travel in Time at the same time. There are a plethora of costumes for the rabbids, and a decent amount of mini games (over twenty). Not the most for a party game, but also not the least. Somewhere in the middle. Ultimately that describes a lot of this home console game. Family Friendly Gaming was given a reviewable copy of Raving Rabbids Travel in Time. I checked online prices for this Wii game, and I would personally wait for it to come down in price before purchasing. Raving Rabbid fans will scoop this game up though.

Raving Rabbids Travel in Time is very kind to players in terms of the controls. Most of the mini games are explained, or easy enough to figure out. The more Raving Rabbids Travel in Time is played, the more content that is unlocked. Do not expect to play all the mini games from the beginning. The variety of difficulty settings and online mode will keep fans coming back.

Messing around with time may sound funny, but in all reality it would not be a good thing. Raving Rabbids Travel in Time has things like cavemen, vikings, and more. I am not sure I agree with the age of certain events in Raving Rabbids Travel in Time, but that is a debate for another forum. Families can enjoy Raving Rabbids Travel in Time, but I would recommend checking out the age listing. Realize that is mainly there due to the humor. The Raving Rabbids franchise has been around for awhile. Do they deserve a little break?
