Playmobil Circus

Playmobil Circus is a fun little mini game compilation based on the Playmobil universe. There are sixteen different mini games that are all based on the circus. I noticed there are some very innovative little games. Putting a candy cane in a lions mouth was one of the more interesting mini games I have seen in awhile. The bunnies in the magic hats was one of the more fun mini games in this Wii game.

The visuals in Playmobil Circus show a lot of variety in the colors. There is quite a bit of visual humor in Playmobil Circus that families will enjoy. I noticed some mild violence like getting knocked down when your character does not jump or duck under a rope. Another mini game that stuck out was the strong man tripping over a chicken. I felt really bad for the chicken. Maybe because I have had problems my entire life not knowing my own strength. And yes things break very easily around me at times.

The music is circus based, which is to be expected. I liked the music, and the theme of getting to perform at a circus. The special effect sounds are decent in Playmobil Circus. Nothing that irritated, but nothing that really stuck out either. The game encourages you to score higher than the legendary Clown X. I did not hear any offensive sounds or language while playing Playmobil Circus. Which reminds me, the language the characters speak is pure gibberish.

One of the cool things about Playmobil Circus is two players can play this game at the same time. This is another game that can bring families together. It would have been nice if there had been up to four players allowed to play. I found that Playmobil Circus gave me a workout while I was playing it. More on the right side of my body than the left.

Mini game compilations live and die on how well they control. It can also be a pain to try and review these games when some are good, and some are bad. I had a lot of fun with many of the mini games in Playmobil Circus. There were a few that I did not like at all. The chicken tower was one game that frustrated me to no end. Bouncing the elephant around was great, and so was spinning the plates. Different people have different tastes, so you may find you like/dislike different mini games.

Playmobil Circus is one of the cleanest mini game compilations for families I have played. Using the Playmobil universe is a really good idea. I would like to see sequels to this franchise in the future. The main lessons in Playmobil Circus is to pay attention to the instructions, memory skills, as well as matching skills. Dreamcatcher has made quite a splash in the video game industry thanks to Playmobil Circus on the Wii.
