Pipe Rush

I have been pretty hard on apps over recent months. So it is a real pleasure to be able to play an app that is just awesome. Pipe Rush is one of the best apps I have played all year. Players put down pipes to get water to all the different houses. Make sure that there are no loose ends dumping water, and connect all the houses. This play mechanic works brilliantly on the iPhone/iPod Touch platform. Pipe Rush includes a cute female lead character, and a nice atmosphere.

The graphics are bright and colorful in Pipe Rush. This app surprised me with how nice the details are. I was not expecting that, and am very pleasantly surprised. There can be some explosions as there are obstacles that will destroy pipes that have been laid. The player still needs to get the pipes down, so the violence is shown as a bad thing. It impedes progress.

When I started playing Pipe Rush there were some cool sounds that enhanced this game. Then as I was playing through the game I noticed the sounds were too silent. Not really clear why the game went silent. For the smart mouths out there, I did have the sound on the iPod Touch turned all the way up. I appreciate how Pippa is providing a needed service to these houses.

I love playing Pipe Rush on the iPhone/iPod Touch. I ate up the levels, and enjoyed replaying them. There are enough high quality levels for one dollar. Pipe Rush contains achievements, and leaderboards. I feel that Pipe Rush is worth the price of admission. Yes, Family Friendly Gaming was given a reviewable copy. I would have purchased this game anyways though.

The controls work masterfully well in Pipe Rush. I love how easy it is rotate the pipes, as well as put them back. Pipe Rush is a nice game that is very forgiving to the players. I had a ton of fun playing Pipe Rush on the iPod Touch. The level design in Pipe Rush is very intelligent. This app starts easy, but it can really make you think during later levels.

I want to see more games like Pipe Rush in the future. I found myself planning where to put which pipes, and making sure that every angle was covered. I will be recommending Pipe Rush to friends, families, and pastors that I personally know. The main lesson in Pipe Rush is service, and bringing water to those who need it. Clickgamer.com has a real hit on their hands.
