Old Dogs
SCORE: 88

Old Dogs is one of the funniest family friendly movies I have seen
all year. Okay so many the year is not very long in the tooth yet, but
still this is one funny movie. Robin Williams and John Travolta are two
older bachelors on the cusp of making their biggest business deal. Robin
Williams realizes how lonely he is, and contacts his ex-wife. She
springs a major surprise on him - he is a father of twins. His children
are seven years old. She is going to jail for a few weeks, and needs him
		to watch them.

There are quite a few visual gags in Old Dogs. The scene where pills get
swapped is one of the greatest in the entire movie. Old Dogs has some
great scenes of parental love. Certain female characters show off
cleavage in this movie. Old Dogs has some great special effects,
especially in terms of the depth perception problem. A short scene with
a gorilla shows some mild peril. The beginning of the movie has
drinking, getting a tattoo on the chest, and a quick marriage.

I really enjoyed the musical score in Old Dogs. Different areas had
different themes. Adults will understand the flirting dialogue, but it
went right over the heads of the children. I did not catch bad language
while watching Old Dogs, and really appreciate that. I find it
interesting to see these two actors doing clean roles. It fits them
		better than I originally expected.

Disney was kind enough to provide Family Friendly Gaming with the
Blu-ray plus DVD plus Digital Copy. This means you can watch this movie
almost everywhere. Bloopers, deleted scenes, commentary, and music
videos are some of the extras on these discs. I feel that Old Dogs is
worth the price of admission. Prince of Persia fans will find a nice
		sneak peek to that film.

The menu screens in Old Dogs have an intelligent design. I was able to
easily navigate through them. The storyline in Old Dogs is fantastic.
They realize what is really important in life. Work is never as
important as family, and Old Dogs teaches that lesson quite well. Every
single one of use who watched Old Dogs had a real blast. In fact I am
still laughing about certain parts of this movie.

We love films that put family first. Old Dogs is certainly one such
film. The main lesson I learned from this movie is to keep my family at
a higher life priority than work. Work will wait, and intelligent people
can be patient. I would love to see a sequel to Old Dogs in the near
future. Not sure exactly how they would do it, but it would be
interesting. Old Dogs does contain a marriage being annulled even though
		it was consummated.
