Nickelodeon Fit

I noticed an interesting theme at E3 in the year of our Lord 2010. There were some good games for children. There were a lot of good games for children. A couple of companies had fitness games for children. Nickelodeon Fit from our friends over at 2K Play is one of the most interesting. Dora, Diego, Ni Hao Kai-Lan, and The Backyardigans are all present and accounted for in this fitness game for children. Think Wii Fit, but for kids. Adults can play it, and may need to if they need assistance getting back into physical fitness.

The different cartoon characters take children through thirty different games that help kids stay physically active. Children can follow the directions easily, and Nickelodeon Fit gives them enough time to prepare for the exercise they will be going. There is also a small box that shows the child what to do while they are doing the exercises. There are numerous fun and fresh colors in Nickelodeon Fit.

The visual instructions are only one half of how Nickelodeon Fit teaches children to play this Wii game. The other half is the verbal instructions. The voices in Nickelodeon Fit are directly from the television shows. Nickelodeon Fit is very encouraging to all of the children playing. The music is very cheerful, upbeat, and friendly in Nickelodeon Fit. Children love this game, and how easy it is to learn how to play it.

A children's specialist assisted with the creation of Nickelodeon Fit. There are stretching exercises, heart exercises, and more in Nickelodeon Fit. Different characters have different routines. Parents can track the progress of their children, and create custom work outs. Nickelodeon Fit is a lot of fun, especially for children. Nickelodeon Fit does not care if children take turns during an exercise regiment. I had them swap out since only one player can play at a time.

The tone of Nickelodeon Fit is perfect. Children enjoy moving around in this exercise video game for the Wii. Nickelodeon Fit tells and shows the kids what the next exercise is. Before they are given an opportunity most kids are copying what they just saw. The timing could have been shortened a bit, but that is a very minor thing. Child obesity is a problem in America, and Nickelodeon Fit is a video game that can assist with that.

It is really cool that companies like 2K Play are spending time and resources on games like Nickelodeon Fit. Kids get up off the couch and exercise thanks to this Wii game. I hope to see more games like this in the near future. Nickelodeon Fit includes enough exercise games that kids will have a blast while they are losing weight. Nickelodeon Fit gives children the choice of Wii Balance Board or the Wii Remote.
