MLB Power Pros Touch 2010
SCORE: 90
MLB Power Pros Touch 2010 is one of those apps I was very excited to
hear about. I was even more excited to be able to play this game. The
MLB Power Pros series has reviewed extremely well here at Family
Friendly Gaming. So we were very interested to see what Konami would do
with it on the Ipod Touch/Iphone platform. We were not disappointed. In
fact MLB Power Pros Touch 2010 is the highest scoring app we have
reviewed here at Family Friendly Gaming (editor at the time this review
was written).
The characters have a very approachable look to them. MLB Power Pros
Touch 2010 has a lot of personality that family members will notice.
When a close strike is called the batter will look back at the umpire.
To me this visual was absolutely precious. The menu screens have a lot
of color, as does the game. The graphics in the fielding is a step down.
The team logos look realistic, and I enjoyed seeing the Mariners logo.
I have to admit I was not expecting much from the audio in MLB Power
Pros Touch 2010. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the announcers
are. Sure they may be sound bytes, but they are so opportunistic that it
helps this game flow. The music is crisp and clear in MLB Power Pros
Touch 2010 too. I did not hear any offensive sounds or words while
playing this app.
Konami put a lot of different modes, and options in MLB Power Pros Touch
2010. You can play seasons of various lengths, as well as games. Getting
to play a three inning game works perfectly on a hand held device. No
matter what pro baseball team you cheer for, you will have a team to
play in this game. Who doesn't like taking their team to victory? I feel
that MLB Power Pros Touch 2010 is worth the price of admission.
I liked the controls in MLB Power Pros Touch 2010. Getting to pick the
pitch, and where to place it works amazingly well. The computer is
insanely intelligent in MLB Power Pros Touch 2010. They rarely go
chasing after bad pitches. Batting took me a few games to figure out.
Once I did I was stringing together hits, and scoring runs. I had a lot
of fun playing MLB Power Pros Touch 2010.
Families can be assured that their children will be safe playing MLB
Power Pros Touch 2010. I would like to see sequels to this game in the
near future. A home run derby mode would be really cool in my opinion.
It was my personal joy and pleasure to be able to play and review MLB
Power Pros Touch 2010. I am very blessed that Konami provided us a
review code for this game. I will be recommending MLB Power Pros Touch
2010 to friends and family members.
