Now Family Friendly Gaming is finding out about their learning DVDs.
Leap Frog Math Adventure to the Moon teaches kids counting, numbers, and
some general math concepts. Tad and Lily need to bring ten things to
school to show off. So they go on a rocket ship trip to learn how to
count to ten. It may sound corny, but it is actually really cute. The
target age of this product is 3 years old to 6 years old.
Leap Frog Math Adventure to the Moon has a lot of visual teaching. Kids
learn colors, shapes, and numbers. The animation is decent, and the DVD
is very bright and colorful. I did not find any offensive images while
watching Leap Frog Math Adventure to the Moon. Characters get in mild
peril, but I never thought they would actually get hurt. Neither did the
children who watched this DVD with me.
I have to be honest, and state I was not expecting a lot from Leap Frog
Math Adventure to the Moon. I don't know why. Lionsgate and Leap Frog
make a nice combination. The music in Leap Frog Math Adventure to the
Moon is very catchy. Kids will dance and sing to songs that teach them
basic mathematical skills. I have one of those songs stuck in my head
still.
The one issue I have with Leap Frog Math Adventure to the Moon is the
length of the DVD. It is 36 minutes. On the short side, even for a
childrens DVD. There are some cool bonuses. The songs that are in the
show are included in a Sing-A-Long format as well. There is also a
sorting game, and sneak peaks at other products. The price of Leap Frog
Math Adventure to the Moon can help you decide if this purchase is
worthwhile or not. I would have liked a longer show, or multiple shows
on one disc. With that said I still find a lot of value to this product.
Leap Frog Math Adventure to the Moon brought a smile to my face.
Children in the target age range really got into this DVD. They were
even singing some of the educational songs afterward. Leap Frog Math
Adventure to the Moon is a great learning tool that parents can use. The
menu screens are easy to navigate through, and the disc tells kids to
get a parent to help make a selection.
I would like to see Leap Frog grow this area of their business. Leap
Frog Math Adventure to the Moon is a wonderful start that Family
Friendly Gaming would love to see more of. I will be recommending Leap
Frog Math Adventure to the Moon to friends, family members, and pastors
who have children in the appropriate age range. All of the lessons in
Leap Frog Math Adventure to the Moon are fantastic.
