Justice League Crisis on Two Earths

I have not read the comic book, so I am not sure how close the DVD movie is to the source material. I do know that I found some enjoyment out of this super hero animated movie. There are some problems with this movie, which we will get into. There are two different earths. One where Superman, Batman, Flash Wonderwoman, etc. are heroes - The Justice League. In a parallel world they are all criminals. Lex Luther is the good guy, and the last surviving one. Lex finds a way to traverse across the multiverse to try and get help. The heroes jump on board (editor: of course) to stop the Criminal Syndicate (the bad version of themselves).

Justice League Crisis on Two Earths contains quite a bit of violence. Heroes and villains beat on each other relentlessly. Certain characters dies in this movie as well. Blood is something that is also shown in Justice League Crisis on Two Earths repeatedly. Most of the female characters are busting out in this movie as well. I never really understood why comic books have not progressed past using women as sexual objects. There are also numerous explosions.

I was expecting a lot of bad language seeing how this movie is rated ‘PG-13.’ To my shock there were only a few bad words used here and there. Come to think of it, there was not a lot of dialogue used in this movie. The voice acting is good, and made me feel like they were actually there in the middle of the action. The music in Justice League Crisis on Two Earths fit the theme of the movie perfectly.

There are multiple package choices with Justice League Crisis on Two Earths. The more money you spend the more special features you will receive. Even the lowest price DVD package has some cool bonus features that are sure to interest comic book fans. The item of most interest is what they are working on next. It is a Batman storyline of recent years that is darker than most. I will not spoil that surprise.

I had no problems navigating through the menu screens of Justice League Crisis on Two Earths. The storyline is good in terms of the heroes fighting off the villains. It was also cool to see the citizens grow a backbone at the end of the film. Certain deception to save specific characters was not to my liking.

There is an undertone of evolution in Justice League Crisis on Two Earths. It is used a couple of times in dialogue. For those not aware the whole multiverse concept is used by those who hold to that belief to fill huge gaping holes in the theory. To me it is just fantasy, and I do not believe there is another earth for every single different decision we make in life. There are too many of us, and too many decisions we make.
