D3 Publisher has done a fantastic thing with Family Party 90 Great
Games Party Pack. This game includes Family Party 30 Great Games, Family
Party 30 Great Games Winter Fun, and Family Party 30 Great Games Outdoor
Fun. Those three games combined give this one disc 90 great games. I
love finding a deal, and this disc is a fantastic deal. Family Friendly
Gaming was given a reviewable copy for this review. Compilations are
great, but a compilation done on recent games is even better.
The various mini games range graphically, as do the three games. They
improve gradually over the three games. There are some female characters
in Family Party 90 Great Games Party Pack that could have dressed more
appropriately. Thankfully the majority of them do, and they do dress
appropriately in the Winter Fun game. Players can get whacked, fall in
the water, or other hazards if they make mistakes while playing this
game. I like the colors, and the various activities in Family Party 90
Great Games Party Pack.
Upbeat music goes a long ways here at Family Friendly Gaming. Family
Party 90 Great Games Party Pack keeps it upbeat, and energetic. I
considered saying the music was fresh, but since these three games have
been released in the past it did not seem legitimate. The special effect
sounds fit the theme, especially when I did something right. Not so much
so when making mistakes, but I think that has more to do with the
mistake than the sound in this Wii game.
I am giving Family Party 90 Great Games Party Pack a perfect one hundred
for the replay and extras. We get three entire Wii games on this disc.
It is one thing to get say three Gamecube games on a Wii disc, but three
games from the current generation is an awesome idea. Four family
members can enjoy this game at the same time, and that is the best way
to play this game in my opinion. Each game includes unlockable content.
Families can enjoy Family Party 90 Great Games Party Pack for months to
come.
The controls range in Family Party 90 Great Games Party Pack. The first
game explains each mini game before it is played. The other two explain
how to play the game if you press the '1' button. Comprehension of the
controls is paramount to doing well in Family Party 90 Great Games Party
Pack. I did run into some issues with a few of the mini games because of
the controls. Either something was not working, or I was doing it
incorrectly, etc. This can easily lead to frustration. Practicing these
games can help, and expect some failures before successes. My over all
experience with Family Party 90 Great Games Party Pack is positive.
One of the lessons I gleaned from Family Party 90 Great Games Party Pack
is to pace myself. There were some mini games where the computer blew
ahead of me at the start. I stuck with it, and before I knew it I was
passing them with ease. I also learned to do my best, and give it one
hundred percent. Family Party 90 Great Games Party Pack also teaches how
to deal with failure. I think D3 Publisher has a fantastic idea going
with this Wii game. I hope to see more compilations like this in the
near future. We get more bang for our bucks.
