Cheer We Go

Cheer We Go is a cheerleader story game on the Nintendo DS. You get to take on the role of a girl you create, and her story of helping others by cheering for them. A few instances seem a bit laughable like cheering well, and the football team overcomes a 20 point deficit. If it were only that easy to get out of our national debt. If it were, I would cheer for the nation. Going to the cemetery and cheering for a ghost had to be weirdest part of this hand held game.

The vibrant backgrounds, and happy cheerleaders went a long way in Cheer We Go. The problem I ran into is I did not always notice the screen was displaying icons to interact with. The girls generally dress appropriately. The lack of details on their anatomy, as well as dialogue boxes blocking specific areas means Cheer We Go does not reach enticement to lust levels.

The music is pretty rocking in Cheer We Go. The beat is easy to feel, and that can help girls while they are playing this Nintendo DS game. Helping out a ghost to bring more ghosts was really odd. I am not sure why such a level was included in the story. The main core of Cheer We Go is helping out others through your cheerleading. A very admirable goal that will definitely appeal to girls. My neice (editor: who is a cheerleader) enjoyed Cheer We Go.

If you and a friend both have Cheer We Go, then ya'll can enjoy the multiplayer mode. The story mode can be beaten in a few hours, but there are a nice amount of content that can be purchased. Natsume included some interesting different ways to Cheer We Go that will interest many female gamers. If you are playing this game on the Nintendo DSi then you gain access to a bonus mini game.

The touch screen controls work really well in Cheer We Go. As I previously mentioned I did have some issues with noticing there were icons to interact with. Following the ball while it went across the screen was tough at times. The reason was I had no idea how fast it would go. Some of them went quickly, and some went slow. If I did not score enough points to progress I had to try and remember the speed.

Cheer We Go is a game that targets the female side of the family. Girls will learn lessons about helping others, self esteem, and standing up to those who are self centered. I also noticed on character professed they hated another one. So if you have some school spirit, then you may want to take a good look at Cheer We Go on the Nintendo DS.
