As soon as I could scape together the money I purchased America’s Test Kitchen Let’s Get Cooking. I know some people are shaking their heads at me as they read that. Yes I am helping Nintendo grow their coffers, and yes in a way I am supporting their greed. Our one million readers need to know if this Nintendo DS game is worth their hard earned money. The short answer is yes. So if you want to move on, and ignore the rest of the review you can. Everyone that is left can find the reasons why.
Graphically I am impressed with America’s Test Kitchen Let’s Get Cooking. There are pictures of the ingredients, dishes, and each step in the cooking process. Nintendo also included videos showing how to do certain things. America’s Test Kitchen Let’s Get Cooking can get fast food, and restaurant addicts back into their own kitchens and becoming more self sufficient To quote a retired pro wrestler: “and that’s a good thing.” I have seen that pro wrestler thanks to my hubby and Youtube.
The voice that talks us through each step is fantastic. America’s Test Kitchen Let’s Get Cooking is very encouraging, educational, and helpful. I found no offensive sounds or language while I played America’s Test Kitchen Let’s Get Cooking on the Nintendo DS.
With three hundred recipes inside America’s Test Kitchen Let’s Get Cooking, it can take the place of a cookbook. This DS game can also take the place of a timer since a timer is included (editor: inside the game). The range of recipes is quite extensive. Nintendo also put in a mini game for those who absolutely have to have some entertainment value in their video games.
The touch screen controls in America’s Test Kitchen Let’s Get Cooking are flawless. There are some neat touches in this hand held game as well. Being able to exclude recipes based on ingredients is pretty cool. My one issue with America’s Test Kitchen Let’s Get Cooking is not all of the ingredients are readily available. I would have found it helpful for alternatives to be suggested in case you did not have certain things. All of us in our family find America’s Test Kitchen Let’s Get Cooking to be a lot of fun.
America’s Test Kitchen
Let’s Get Cooking is one of those Nintendo DS games that can be used to
improve people’s lives. The image of the gamer gets improved thanks to
this game, and it brings in more people to the video game industry. I
hope that Nintendo continues to release games like this one in the near
future. I will be recommending this game to friends and family.
