Wizards On Deck with Hannah Montana
SCORE: 80
Wizards On Deck with Hannah Montana takes three popular Disney television shows and does a triple crossover. This DVD contains a episode of all three shows, and each show guests stars characters from the other three shows. This can make a rather crowded show at times, however it does flow well through the three of them. If you are familiar with each of these shows, or any one of them, then you will get a kick out of how well they work together.
Wizards On Deck with Hannah Montana has a real boat feel to it since it is on the S. S. Tipton. There are some interesting colors, like a character who gets very blue, another with green hair, and plenty of different outfits. The various colors are part of the humorous charm of this DVD, and I will not spoil it for you (editor as to which characters have this happen to them). There is plenty of physical humor on this DVD as well.
The music in Wizards On Deck with Hannah Montana is good. I did notice a lot of deception, and some minor name calling. One character is routinely referred to as dumb. A word we do not let our four year old say, since he is not mature enough to use it properly. This is a minor quibble, and it is interesting that Hannah Montana has the best language of the three shows.
Wizards On Deck with Hannah Montana contains a few extras that will interest our readers. The backstage interviews, and bloopers were my personal favorites. There is also an essay video that got Justin and his siblings on this teen cruise.
If you are familiar with Disney humor then you will know what to expect from Wizards On Deck with Hannah Montana. Each show has various plots, and then the running theme. I appreciate how family friendly this triple crossover is, and it caught the interest of my own children. The menu screens function as I would expect them to - meaning no problems. We all had fun watching this DVD.
There are a lot of
different lessons in Wizards On Deck with Hannah Montana. Do not pull
pranks, and then lie about it, listen to and obey you parents, be
patient, do not believe in superstitions, seek guidance from parents,
just be yourself, follow directions, and more. I have always liked
crossovers, and hope to see more in the future.
