Winnie the Pooh A Valentines For You Special Edition is a wonderful
DVD that kids of all ages will enjoy. Don't tell anyone but my hubby was
watching this one with the kids. That silly old bear has some amazing
staying power. The three episodes on this DVD are A Valentine For You,
Un-Valentine Day, and Three Little Piglets. There is a bonus episode
which I will discuss later. Pooh, Piglet, Rabbit, Tigger, and
Christopher Robin all make this franchise a wonderful one.
In case you did not realize it, Winnie the Pooh A Valentines For You
Special Edition is based on Valentines Day. Characters give one another
cards, cakes, and other such presents. The graphics are from different
Winnie the Pooh eras. With that said none of them felt dated. This is
Disney we are talking about, and their work looks good to this day.
There is some mild peril as characters save one another in the My Hero
episode.
The one word that comes to mind when I think about Winnie the Pooh A
Valentines For You Special Edition is approachable. All of these
characters are approachable, friendly, and helpful. Even when they have
a bad idea like not giving gifts and cards out, you know it will turn
out right in the end. Rabbit is the authoritative figure behind
Christopher Robin. Pooh is the main source of humor, however Tigger,
Eeyore, and Piglet get their time to shine as well.
The bonus episode on Winnie the Pooh A Valentines For You Special
Edition is My Hero. This is a cute little episode that adds to the 50
minutes of playing time. Kids will enjoy the Catch the Love Bug game
included on this DVD as well. Parents will take an interest in the sneak
peaks. I found a couple of upcoming releases of interest. Various ages
of children enjoyed this, and some even wanted to make cards after
watching.
The stories in Winnie the Pooh A Valentines For You Special Edition have
such a flow to them. We all knew that banning Valentines Day was not
going to work. That is like trying to ban Christmas. We enjoy giving to
others, and sharing love. True love from the heart where we think about
the other person first. I saw so many examples of that on this DVD.
Children enjoyed Winnie the Pooh A Valentines For You Special Edition
quite a bit.
We have enjoyed the Winnie the Pooh cartoons on DVD this year. Winnie
the Pooh A Valentines For You Special Edition is a nice way to carry
this franchise into 2010. I hope to see sequels to this. I actually
would like to see a major Winnie the Pooh compilation come out. Maybe
seasons of the show. Boys and girls both can enjoy Winnie the Pooh A
Valentines For You Special Edition.
