Wedding Dash

Wedding Dash is another Nintendo DS video game in the Diner Dash style. This port from the Internet is themed around wedding receptions. The wedding planner has to help the couples with the cake, main dish, and honeymoon. Quinn is the main player of Wedding Dash, and she knows Flo. In fact the beginning of this game has the two carrying on a conversation in what looks like a yoga class. The guests have different tastes, and extra points are scored by seating them in the appropriate places. Certain guests want a specific table, or to sit next to another person. Gifts are then taken to the happy couple, and then the player serves the guests. Three courses are what the guests receive, and this part will be most familiar to the veterans of the Diner Dash video games. Thankfully the player does not need to clean up after the guests. The guests are very thoughtful that way.

Wedding Dash has various characters who look different. The details are okay on the Nintendo DS. I have seen better, but then I have also seen worse. I love how there are images of couples in love in this hand held video game.  Bridesmaids get into fights, and the player must separate them.

The music in Wedding Dash fits the theme nicely. It also encouraged me to perform well. Compared to Diner Dash there is not as many special effect sounds, but that is okay. I did not hear any offensive words while playing Wedding Dash on the Nintendo DS. I read some text from couples that talked about how they would not divorce.

There are multiple tiers of a wedding cake that represent each area. Each area has quite a few levels that are represented by wedding rings. If two players have Wedding Dash, then there is a multiplayer mode they can play. I like the theme of Wedding Dash better than Diner Dash personally. I also think this game flows better in terms of gameplay.

Speaking of the gameplay, the touch screen controls work beautifully. Stringing together commands is simple to do, and really bring up the bonuses. I also found it is very important to seat these guests near the other guests. Each level requires a specific amount of points to complete it successfully. Wedding Dash starts out easy enough, but gets more complex as the game progresses.

Marriage is such a blessed union between one man and one woman. Wedding Dash focuses on the reception, but it still touches on the topic of marriage. I would like to see a sequel to Wedding Dash on the Nintendo DS. I found Wedding Dash to be safe for the entire family, and it was my pleasure to review it.
