VeggieTales Saint Nicholas

My children have loved VeggieTales for a very long time. We have almost every VeggieTales DVD that has been released. When my hubby mentioned a chance to get a reviewable copy of VeggieTales Saint Nicholas, I encouraged him to knock on that door. VeggieTales Saint Nicholas is the third VeggieTales holiday DVD, and the first one in seven years. It has been a long drought, but VeggieTales Saint Nicholas was worth the wait. This DVD teaches the origins of Santa Clause, and what the true meaning of Christmas really is.

VeggieTales Saint Nicholas has a good shine to it, and the vegetables look great. There are plenty of visuals that look fantastic. If you look around you will notice many of your favorite VeggieTales characters. The camera work shows off some new things, and the animation is really good. Expect many festive images to be strewn throughout. In fact that is one of the running gags on this DVD. Once you watch this movie you will know exactly what I am talking about.

The music in VeggieTales Saint Nicholas is awesome. My kids love to sing along, and I love how they put various songs together. Long time VeggieTales fans will find specific jokes that they will get. The best example is the mouse trap joke. Not only did I enjoy it, but my children did as well. In fact they knew many of the running jokes and made comments about them. VeggieTales Saint Nicholas is very joyful, and will bring a smile to your face.

There are only a couple of special features on the screener Family Friendly Gaming received. Thankfully they are really cool. VeggieTales Saint Nicholas contains a music video and another extra related to that music video. Amy Grant and Matthew West are the artists who sing in that video, and it really warmed my heart. VeggieTales Saint Nicholas is one of those movies that will be watched over and over again. We have already seen it multiple times. With Christmas so close to the release of this review, I expect to see it many more times.

The menu screens operate as they should in VeggieTales Saint Nicholas. The layout of the options is easy to use. The story in VeggieTales Saint Nicholas is woven together masterfully. I enjoyed how Big Idea told this story. I also enjoyed the true meaning of Christmas being taught. There are a lot of products out there related to Christmas, and VeggieTales Saint Nicholas is one of the better ones.

Big Idea may have had some shake ups in recent years, but VeggieTales Saint Nicholas is a quality product. I hope to see more like this DVD in the near future. I will be recommending VeggieTales Saint Nicholas to friends, family, and pastors I know. It was my pleasure to be able to watch, and review VeggieTales Saint Nicholas on DVD. I expected a good story, and was pleased with the wonderful sense of humor.
