Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure

Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure is a cute little DS game that will appeal to the female side of the family. Girls will get to re-enact many of the important parts of the film. Tinkerbell is given the high honor of making the scepter for the Moon Stone. Through a series of unfortunate events the Moon Stone gets shattered. Tinkerbell must go on a quest for a magical mirror to try and save the entire village. Can you help her adventure beyond Pixie Hollow?

Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure is beautiful. The background screens are fantastic. I just love how colorful the screens are. Disney Interactive Studios also included some fantastic little touches, like a leaf to press to go to the next screen. Characters on the screen look extremely well. I was able to discern who was who in Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure for the Nintendo DS. There are mini games in Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure, but no violence. I enjoyed the blueprint mini games.

Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure contains a light little humor that children will appreciate. As an adult I noticed one funny part in the game. The music in Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure fits the theme of the game. In fact the music is very happy. The friendship theme of the movie is lightly touched upon in the game. I did not find any offensive sounds or words while playing Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure.

Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure is compatible with D-Gamer, and there are two major game play modes. Only one player can play this Nintendo DS game at a time. The length of Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure is what bothers me. I breezed through the game in one to two hours. None of the mini games caught my eye enough to warrant interest in replaying.

With the replay issues aside, I found there is a lot of fun in this DS game. Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure controls by touching on the screen. Nothing could be easier than that. I see Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure as a game for kids, because adults would get bored of this game play mechanic. I love the option to go to the next area from the menu screens. This made the story mode go by very fast.

Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure is a cute little game that girls will enjoy. Some boys may take an interest in this game, but it is geared more towards the girls. I would like to see a sequel to this game. I learned to think through problems, help out those in need, and how important friendship is.
