The Christmas Clause

Are you a stressed out mother? Are you a stressed out working mother? If you answered yes to either of those questions then The Christmas Clause is for you. This DVD is a movie about a mother who is working, taking care of their kids, and not able to give 100% to both at the same time. She wishes for a single ladies life, and is granted her wish.

The hectic lifestyle many of us lead is visually represented very accurately in The Christmas Clause. The contrast from being a mother to a single woman is chronicled visually as well. She goes from dressing appropriately to showing off a lot of her chest. She even notes the body changes since she did not have children. Her dismay at losing her family is acted out very well.

I really related to the mother character in The Christmas Clause. She immediately wanted to get back to her husband and children. Unfortunately she had to find the path back. The Santa character who grants her wish is doing so to earn his way into heaven. A concept many people have.

The Christmas Clause screener DVD Family Friendly Gaming received did not have any special features or extras on it. My hope is the retail product will include some. So I can not rate this area very well based on what we saw.

The movie started right up, and the story of The Christmas Clause got going. The story in The Christmas Clause really connects the viewer to the characters. I liked to see how she realized the other side of the fence was not what she thought it was. I also liked to see what great lengths she went to – to get her life back.

One conversation you can have with your children after watching The Christmas Clause is to not have a food fight. Family is shown as important in this movie, and the pursuit of money is shown as worthless. I love how she refused to sleep with another man when she was in the single lifestyle. The Christmas Clause is a very real movie that will warm your heart.
