Stargate Atlantis Season Two
SCORE: 63
Stargate Atlantis Season Two takes the viewer farther down the rabbit hole. Viewers get to learn hope against the Wraith. Some old friends, enemies, and some new ones come to visit in the second season of Stargate Atlantis. Large space ships, and Wraith in fighting are some new concepts. The bad parts of season one are accentuated in season two.
The increased levels of the violence means Stargate Atlantis Season Two is not for children at all. Ascension and the religious belief in evolution continue to be preached in this television show. I had hoped it would progress past such archaic ideology. A team change also occurs, as a member leaves (Ford) to become a bad guy, and a new character joins. The new character is similar to Teal’c.
The language issues are more prominent, along with sexual relations outside of marriage shown as a good thing. Hollywood need assistance in progressing past such bad teachings. The whole retro virus of turning a Wraith into a human shows how extreme this show goes to solve their problems.
In fact almost every episode includes an impossible problem that the
team always solves. I have to admit I started to become numb to them as
each episode progressed. More connections are made to earth in this
season.
