Soulcalibur Legends

There are some amazing video games that encourage, uplift, and build up families. On the other hand there are some video games that are on the exact opposite end of the spectrum. The plethora of extreme warnings from the ESRB should be enough to dissuade most of our readers from even renting Soulcalibur Legends on the Nintendo Wii. The WMG agreed to play it, and review this Wii game after quite a lot of prayer. Games as bad as Soulcalibur Legends can cause problems in ones relationship with God. Disrupting that relationship can easily mess up all other relationships in life.

Soulcalibur Legends has some bad graphics. Too many female characters are dressed in a way to enslave men into lustful imprisonment. There is plenty of mindless, meaningless, and wasteful violence. The camera likes to get the player hurt by not rotating properly around corners where some trap is waiting to take away some of the players meager health. Blood is also present, along with occultic themes. On top of all that the dungeons are bland, and very repetitive.

Can anyone please explain to the WMG why bad language is needed? It only shows a lack of self-control. The violent sounds get repetitive very quickly as well. The voice acting is not very inspired, but does go along with the rest of Soulcalibur Legends.

There are some two player modes in Soulcalibur Legends for the Wii, however they have the exact same boring violence the rest of the game has. This is a game that you should avoid playing, let alone replaying. Save your money for a good game for your family.

The Nintendo Wii gives developers all kinds of new possibilities for video game play mechanics. Unfortunately Namco Bandai went the direction of the Wii version of Zelda. That means swinging the Wii Remote around in an effort to slice and dice the enemies that came up in every single room. This is the second major problem with Soulcalibur Legends in terms of game play - repetition. Go down a hallway with some traps, then a room to murder some monsters. Repeat that ten, twenty, thirty (editor: whatever) times and that is a level.

Soulcalibur Legends is one of the worst games the WMG has ever played. There are tons of moral, and ethical issues ranging from using a demonic sword that demands sacrifices to lusting after women who are not your wife.
