Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Diamond Edition
SCORE: 93
I am a little nervous reviewing Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Diamond Edition. Snow White has been around for a very long time. Millions of girls have grown up wanting to be a princess just like her. The payoff of getting kissed by Prince Charming comes from this movie. Very few people have not heard of this movie. So to review it, means I am walking through established history. The Diamond Edition contains the DVD and Blu-ray. The third disc contains additional bonus features.
The animation in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Diamond Edition has a nice soft look and feel to it. The little woodland creatures play such an important role in this film. There are instances where chivalry is shown, romance, and eventually love. The witch is a hideous figure, and she is shown as being very evil. She winds up causing her own demise, which makes perfect sense. The main characters have fun, and are very respectful.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Diamond Edition has some extremely well known music. I really enjoyed the various music, and the vocal ranges of the characters. Even Grumpy winds up coming around. Children can learn a lot of great lessons from his movie (editor: bathing, obeying their mother, and more).
The extras in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Diamond Edition are too numerous to mention. Let me touch on a few. Hyperion Studios gives the viewer a behind the scenes look, as does newly discovered storyboards. Games like Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, and Jewel Jumble are sure to please. Music videos, and karaoke sing alongs are also included on these discs. If you like good, wholesome family entertainment, then you will find your money wisely spent on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Diamond Edition.
The menu screens are very interactive, with the mirror talking to the viewer. I enjoyed that added touch to this package. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Diamond Edition has a great story that touches hearts to this very day. I enjoyed this movie tremendously.
Snow White cleans up the dwarfs house, a would be assassin refuses to
kill, and the dwarfs come to try and save the princess. I would love to
see more movies like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Diamond Edition in
the near future.
