Reel Fishing Anglers Dream

The Reel Fishing franchise is one of the most well established fishing franchises in the video game industry. I was pretty happy to hear that this franchise was making it on the Wii in the form of Reel Fishing Angler’s Dream. The Wii Remote and Nunchuk are used to cast, and reel in the fish. Natsume included quite a few various locales that are absolutely breath taking to see.

Reel Fishing Angler’s Dream has a lot of fantastic graphics. The beauty of God’s Creation is all over this Wii game. The fishing lodge is upgraded from previous versions of this game. The fishing master looks about the same to me though. The fish animate wonderfully, and it is really neat to watch them after they have been captured. The visuals in Reel Fishing Angler’s Dream are very soothing in so many various ways.

One of the first things I noticed about Reel Fishing Angler’s Dream is the fantastic voice acting from the fishing master character. He has such a wonderful sound to his voice that he adds a lot of class to this Wii game. The music fits the theme of Reel Fishing Angler’s Dream perfectly. I also really enjoyed hearing the sounds of nature in some of the locales. I did not find any offensive sounds or words while playing this home console video game.

Natsume included a lengthy amount of unlockables in Reel Fishing Angler’s Dream. There may not be a lot of content available at the beginning, but with over 100 fresh and salt water tackles, all the different fish, rods - there is a ton to play around with. Reel Fishing Angler’s Dream also allows for four family members to compete in the versus mode. I feel this game is worth the money.

The only problem I ran into with Reel Fishing Angler’s Dream is some of the controls. At times the fish would get off the hook, and I was not sure why. Casting would not always work the first time either. When things did work it was a beautiful thing that felt like fishing. I had fun with this game overall.

Reel Fishing Angler’s Dream teaches players a lot about fishing, and fish. This is a sports game that takes the time to teach the player about the sport, and I like that. I would love to see a sequel on the Wii, especially if the controls are tweaked a little bit.
