Petz Bunnyz

Ubisoft became one of my favorite developers when they released the Petz line-up. Petz Bunnyz was one of their second generation petz video games, and based on one of my favorite animals - rabbits. In fact our family has two rabbits as pets, and they are a wonderful animal to have around. Petz Bunnyz is a lot like Nintendogs, and Hamsterz Life. The main difference is members of the family get to play with cute, cuddly, and fun bunnies. Ya’ll know that I enjoy bunnies as pets, and I am really strict with any video game based on them.

I had to pinch myself to make sure I was seeing how great the graphics look in Petz Bunnyz. The rabbits animate like real ones, look like real ones, and act like real ones. The wide array of items that players can find, purchase, and use in Petz Bunnyz all look very realistic. The toys look exceptional in this DS game, and made playing ball with the bunny a lot of fun.

The music included in Petz Bunnyz fits the theme as it should. The specially effect sounds are good, and bring some depth to this pet based video game. The Nintendo DS microphone is used in training the bunnies. I did not catch any offensive language while playing Petz Bunnyz on the DS.

Petz Bunnyz is one of those wonderful video games that can last for years. I really enjoy my little digital bunny, and do not have to clean up after her like I do with the real ones. Of course we use that manure in our garden, and that helps us grow food. So there is a good side to that as well. This is the kind of a video game that is worth your hard earned dollars.

I absolutely adore the controls in Petz Bunnyz on the Nintendo DS. Getting to pet, play with, clean, and play with bunnies in this way is just awesome. The controls are laid out in a simple to use pattern for family members of all ages. My own parents could easily figure out and play with fluffy. Petz Bunnyz is a lot of fun to play too.

Ubisoft has done the video game industry a favor with releases like Petz Bunnyz. This is the kind of a video game that improves the image of the industry, and is fun for all members of the family (editor: who are old enough to use a Nintendo DS). This video game is a nice way to see if your child is ready for a pet, especially a furry little carrot eater. I would love to see sequels to Petz Bunnyz, and would suggest Ubisoft put out a Wii version. This game is safe for the entire family, and earns the seal of approval.
