Party Pigs Farmyard Games

The WMG is going to be very clear, and very blunt in this review. Party Pigs Farmyard Games is one of those rare games the WMG does not like. These pigs decide to  get together and compete in seven different Olympic style of events on the Wii. This game reminds the WMG of Redneck Jamboree (editor: also on the Wii). The plumpness of the competitors does not fit into events like the 100M Sprint. All of the events included in Party Pigs Farmyard Games are 100M Sprint, 110M Hurdles, Long Jump, High Jump, Hammer, Javelin, and High Diving. Turnip Throw is also included on this Nintendo Wii disc. Only the first event is open in the single player mode at first. The player must get the best score in three attempts to unlock the next event. This is easier said that done.

The WMG finds the pigs to be really strange looking. They look like a mix between humans and pigs. There are some decent colors used in Party Pigs Farmyard Games. Some of them can get bland (like the race track, and mud spots). The details are okay in Party Pigs Farmyard Games. The pigs have three fingers, and celebrate by sticking up their middle finger. The WMG has a problem with how this looks because it denotes something offensive.

The WMG enjoys listening to the music in Party Pigs Farmyard Games. It can get repetitive, but it is some great sounds. The audio department is one of the shining points of light in Party Pigs Farmyard Games. The special effect sounds fit the theme of this unique video game.

Party Pigs Farmyard Games has some replay value to it even though there are only seven events. The main replay value is replaying the same event until it is finally beaten. Starting with one event, and unlocking six more is on the small side for extras in the WMG’s opinion. The WMG recommends passing on Party Pigs Farmyard Games.

The Wii has brought a new dynamic to video games. Party Pigs Farmyard Games sent the WMG to the doctor with a shoulder injury. This injury came from trying to win one of the competitions. Party Pigs Farmyard Games is extremely difficult (even on the easy setting). The WMG had no fun with this Wii game due to the high difficulty, and repetitive game play.

Competing in events is the main lesson in Party Pigs Farmyard Games. The pigs add a strange layer that just does not work for this reviewer. Maybe if the game play had been better. The WMG hopes Party Pigs Farmyard Games retires very soon.
