MyDoItAll
SCORE: 85
MyDoItAll is another piece of software on the Nintendo DS that stretches the definition of what a video game is. There are some games included on this cartridge, but the main focus is the calendar, journal, notepad, scheduler, calculator, and voice changer. We are not hung up at Family Friendly Gaming on things like the definition of a video game. We look at each product, and ask a few questions. Is it family friendly? Is it fun? Is it inclusive? These are a few of the things we ask when we review games, DVDs, and whatever else we wind up reviewing.
The graphics in MyDoItAll are pretty bland. There are a lot of choices in creating the characters persona, and that scores a lot of points with me. The colors used are soft, but never quite pop (at least for me). The calendars look nice, and I also like the look of the calculator. I did not find any offensive images while playing this game.
MyDoItAll has some pleasant sounds that work with this Nintendo DS cartridge. The sound effects of the voice changer are fun, and add a level of customization that will interest and entertain owners. I did not hear any offensive sounds while playing MyDoItAll. I am not the kind to speak anything offensive so that may have something to do with it.
If you use MyDoItAll with friends, and as your organizer it can be used for years. This DS game is a lot like a PDA. When the Nintendo DS was first released, I said a PDA style organizer would make perfect sense. The Wireless Single DS Card Download play also wins a lot of points with Family Friendly Gaming.
The touch controls, and microphone sensitivity both work masterfully. I like how easy it is to navigate around in MyDoItAll. This Nintendo DS cartridge has plenty of password protection so Lord willing no one can sneak a peak at your calendar, or journal. The one exception to that rule is if you decide to share the content with friends of yours. I would not describe MyDoItAll as fun, but as professional. Quotes of the day are very interesting.
MyDoItAll is one of those pieces of software that helps people. Now
that Tomy has published MyDoItAll, I can see a lot of different
possibilities for the future. I will be recommending MyDoItAll to
pastors, friends and families. There is a targeted focus for this game,
and that is generally people in need of organization. If there are
sequels I would like to see some real pizazz in the graphics department.
