Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo-Choo Express takes two things kids like - trains, and Mickey Mouse. This DVD may not have a rating, however it is very educational for children. Colors, counting, and shapes are the major lessons it teaches. Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Daisy, Goofy all play major roles in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo-Choo Express. Something that stands out about this 47 minute long adventure is how well these characters works together. They even offer kindness to characters like Pete. The core of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo-Choo Express is helping the professor transport the snow.
Bright, vibrant colors are all over Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo-Choo Express. Kids will be drawn to it visually. The train is a fantastic learning tool (editor: for shapes), and the tracks rotate three colors in a specific pattern. Disney even did some pretty neat things with the Easy-Freeze snow to keep the video alive. Characters will have accidents (i.e. falling down), but there is no violence in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo-Choo Express.
They Might Be Giants sings the Choo Choo Express song in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo-Choo Express. There are a lot of learning opportunities on this DVD. Not only the main feature, but also in the extras as well. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo-Choo Express is for preschoolers, but I found my second grader got into this movie as well. The pacing is great for the preschoolers. Adults like myself learned additional patience skills in terms of the pacing.
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo-Choo Express contains an extra episode, as well as a couple of interactive learning games. Kids will rewatch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo-Choo Express. My main concern with this area is the 47 minute movie length. It is almost like getting two episodes, and then a third one as part of the extras.
The movie flows very well, and follows the format of a typical episode of the television show. Kids have fun watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo-Choo Express. I enjoyed some of the songs, and the entertaining way they teach. The menu screens function appropriately on this DVD. A few were a little slow in bringing up everything on the screen (upcoming releases). All in all this is a good DVD that kids will enjoy.
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo-Choo Express hits the bullseye of the
target audience. I like the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse franchise, and hope
to see future releases. A seasonal release is something I would love to
see. Warning: kids may want the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse toys after
watching the DVD.
