Life Yahtzee Payday

DSI Games has been a favorite developer of the WMG for quite some time now. Life, Yahtzee, Payday on the Gameboy Advance is a three pack of the classic board games that can be found at a bargain basement price at a lot of different retailers. Three board games included in one game cartridge is quite a treat. Too few in the video game industry give much thought to video game developers that save the consumer money. They usually only look at the latest, greatest, most technological advancements and expect parents to pick up the extremely costly tab. Family Friendly Gaming understands what it can be like to try and squeeze every last penny out of the budget, and a video game developer like DSI Games is held in esteem.

Life Yahtzee Payday on the Gameboy Advance (GBA) is one of the treasures that can be found in the bargain bin at retailers all across America. Three wonderful board games that are easy to understand, and play (with the exception of Yahtzee of course). There are plenty of bright, colorful, and vibrant visuals found within Life Yahtzee Payday. The animation is decent. The WMG loves to comment on how offensive a video game can be. Thankfully Life Yahtzee Payday has nothing offensive in it whatsoever.

The music in Life Yahtzee Payday is pleasant to the ear, and fits the themes of these games quite well. The rolling of the dice, or spinning of the wheel makes this GBA video game feel like the real thing. No offensive sounds, because DSI Games understands what the America public want in a video game.

Up to four players can play each of the games in Life Yahtzee Payday. The one down side is having to pass the GBA from player to player. This could be good to teach sharing, but also dangerous if someone takes someone else’s turn. Even with this one minor little quirk the WMG feels this game is worth the money.

DSI Games has made enough of these board game compilations to get the controls brilliant. All of these games are fun, especially Life. The layout of the controls in Life Yahtzee Payday on the Gameboy Advance could not be any better.

Life Yahtzee Payday is the type of a game that works on a long road trip, or an airplane flight, or that long wait at the airport trying to go through security. DSI Games needs to continue to make sequels to games like this one, and add some WiFi capabilities. Safe for the entire family.
